The role will be based in London and is part of a new team that manages biddable digital activation for Europe's newest streaming service across the EMEA region. The Senior Planner must have significant hands‑on experience managing Programmatic or Social channels, and be familiar with the latest platform capabilities and KPIs.

- Support your manager and Associate Director in guiding the output of a team of 3–6 onshore/nearshore biddable specialists and act as an escalation point when required.
- Create support documentation and work with junior members of the team across the Hub to upskill them on Programmatic and Social activation and our ways of working.
- Contribute to PHD’s company culture by writing POVs, participating in charity events or sharing your latest Excel trick.
- Lead day‑to‑day communication between the agency, our international offices and client stakeholders.
- Work with your Associate Director and Manager to deliver best‑in‑class media planning.
- Take a brief from planning through to close, collaborating with analysts on insights that can deliver the outcomes our clients expect.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of campaigns and projects and become a trusted advisor for all things digital.
- Work in tandem with our nearshore team to deliver campaign activity across Programmatic and Social.
- Collaborate with local teams on market‑leading data and supply that are described in media plans for flighted campaigns.
- 2+ years of experience working in programmatic or social activation.
- Full understanding of the mechanics of a media plan.
- Proactive self‑starter with strong knowledge of digital marketing principles.
- Passion for learning new things.
- Excellent communication, listening skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical skills and confidence in analysing data using Excel.
- Responsive to feedback.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong spoken and written English (ability to speak other European languages is desired but not essential).
PHD is a growth‑focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity. Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was about buying cheaply and quickly. We continue to build on this defining ethic through continual investment in thought leadership and ensuring our capabilities evolve in line with changes in media, data, technology, commerce, society and legislation.
With over 100 offices in 74 countries, we create remarkable campaigns that drive growth using the extended canvas of data and technology.
At Omnicom Media Group, we support flexible working for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation and teamwork. We have a hybrid model (three days in the office, two days working remotely) with standard hours of 9:30–17:30, and the option to flex around core hours of 10:30–16:30. This arrangement allows you to start early or late to fit your work style. We encourage open conversations with managers to navigate high‑need periods and individual circumstances, and our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported in both their careers and personal lives.
