INDEPENDENT PRESS STANDARDS ORGANISATION (IPSO) invites applications for a lay member to join the Complaints Committee. Members examine editorial processes and consider concerns about journalistic practice, helping protect freedom of expression and promote good practice in newsrooms.
The Committee, comprising lay members and former editors, rules on whether the Editors' Code of Practice has been breached and reads cases circulated weekly.
