Dental Technology Teacher / Lecturer - Further Education College

We're working with a Further Education College seeking an experienced Dental Technology Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis, starting immediately.

You’ll be delivering practical and theory-based Dental Technology teaching across Foundation Degree and Level 3 programmes, supporting students within a laboratory environment. The role will include teaching Foundation Degree Dental Technology learners across Years 1 and 2, as well as Level 3 Dental Technology Apprenticeship provision, so you’ll be confident using your practical expertise to support and develop the next generation of Dental Technicians.

• Immediate start
• Approximately 23.5 teaching hours per week, based on the current timetable
• Practical laboratory-based teaching environment
• Teaching across Foundation Degree and Level 3 Dental Technology programmes
• Opportunity to make a real impact on students' technical and professional development

• Current GDC registration as a Dental Technician
• Strong practical experience in Dental Technology, particularly Crown & Bridge / fixed restorations
• Recent experience working within a dental laboratory environment
• Ability to confidently deliver practical, laboratory-based teaching
• Experience supporting learners at Level 3 and/or Foundation Degree level is desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Available to start immediately
