Mid-Weight Interior Designer

Hamilford Design are located in London's Notting Hill. We work with HNW and UHNW individuals, creating elegant, luxurious, warm residential interiors. Every room we design is unique. For our hospitality clients we design gorgeous and memorable wow spaces. Our comprehensive range of interior design services takes a project from inception through the design stages, FF&E procurement, to completion, delivery and installation.

We work on renovations, refurbishments and new builds supported by wider professional teams. Our projects range from listed residences in London to townhouses in New York, large country estates, lakeside properties and a few exciting commercial projects including an iconic London hotel.

We are seeking an intelligent, capable and driven mid‑weight interior designer to work full‑time in our Notting Hill studio. You must have at least 3 years of experience on high‑end residential projects in London. High‑quality technical drawing skills and knowledge of luxury suppliers are essential. You will work closely with a Senior designer, supporting them to deliver the highest quality projects.

• Engage in concept proposals, space planning, furniture selection, and FF&E.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors in designing interior spaces.
• Select and purchase FF&E, communicating design concepts effectively.
• See projects through from concept to completion.

Vectorworks and Estimac experience highly desirable.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and independent mid‑weight designer to cover a period of unpaid leave for a travelling colleague. This role requires experience on high‑end residential projects in London and the ability to hit the ground running. You will support multiple projects at the detailed design and FF&E procurement stage.

• Deliver high‑quality technical drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for FF&E procurement.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.

Vectorworks and Estimac experience highly desirable.

We are seeking a Business Development Lead with experience in luxury design across London. You must possess excellent networking and client relationship skills, maintaining momentum while creating new opportunities and working towards targets.

• Cover the Director of Business Development during maternity leave.
• Work from our Notting Hill studio 3 days per week, attending networking events across London and the Cotswolds.
• Represent Hamilford Design to the highest standards.
• Manage CRM software, keep the database up‑to‑date, and organise follow‑ups after events.
• Engage with industry professionals (architects, project managers, private offices, property agents, client representatives), chasing leads and utilising skills to bring in new projects, prepare proposals and close deals.
