Building Regulation Principal Designer
An employee owed Construction Consultancy is seeking a Building Regulation Principal Designer. You would join an established team of ex‑Architects working towards ensuring building regulation compliance across a variety of projects. The consultancy offers great work‑life balance, so the successful Principal Designer will rarely work late or start early. Following the Building Safety Act (2022) the Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD) role involves design coordination in relation to the Building Regulations. You will liaise with your team to utilise design compliance trackers and provide design advice relevant to this.
Requirements- Confident in your Building Regulation & Gateway Application knowledge (required)
- Minimum of 4 years of project experience post ARB/ACIAT certification (required)
- Member of a professional organisation: RIBA/ARB/MCIAT (preferred)
- RIBA/CIAT Principal Designer HRB or Non‑HRB status (preferred)
- Up to £70,000
