Based primarily in our London Victoria office, this is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to contribute to the concept, development and delivery of innovative bridge projects.

As an Assistant Architectural Bridge Designer, you will support the design and delivery of high-quality bridge and infrastructure projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will gain hands‑on experience across all stages of the design process, from initial concepts through to detailed design. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your digital design capabilities, working with industry-standard software and tools, with training provided where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing creative and technically robust bridge design solutions.
- Support the production of drawings, models and design documentation.
- Contribute to concept design development, 3D modelling and visualisations.
- Use design software to support project delivery, including CAD and 3D modelling tools.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, architects and other stakeholders.
- Support project delivery in line with programme, budget and quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and team discussions.
We encourage applications from individuals who meet many of the following criteria:
- Degree (or working towards a degree) in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable interest in bridge design, infrastructure or the built environment.
- Strong design, visualisation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience or interest in 3D modelling and digital design workflows.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
Software Skills (Desirable)
- Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous:
Rhino (preferred), Sketch Up, Revit, AutoCAD and/or Micro Station, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
