This role focuses on architecture, interior and design management for workplace projects and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Responsibilities- Work directly with corporate services and technology real estate stakeholders including Workplace Design and Planning, Property Management, Workplace Support Services, Multimedia, and Enterprise Technology Services; collaborate with Corporate Security & Investigations, interior design and peer review consultants, and other consultants (MEP, lighting) to identify impact to overall design coordination and drive solutions.
- Review drawings from s and monitor updates based on comments from peer review consultants and client stakeholders; compare against the visioning document to ensure adherence to the approved design brief; highlight changes requiring sign-offs.
- Identify finishes and details that could lead to operational challenges and drive solutions for closure; discuss with concerned teams before finalization and execution.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of external partners for design deliverables; ensure adequate socialization and sign-offs on the design from respective stakeholders prior to execution.
- Partner with the Firm’s Technology group to ensure integration of their components with the workplace spaces.
- Strategically collaborate with and build relationships across functional departments and client business units to obtain information from client stakeholders and ensure incorporation into design solutions.
- Lead activities to ensure alignment on design solutions and drive consistency globally, noting any local customization needs.
- Identify exceptions or design solutions that digress from global guidelines and engage the right stakeholders to close/address the gaps.
- Leverage Global Workplace Guidelines, governance, policies, planning metrics, principles, best practices and lessons learned to provide implementation strategies and solutions for the project.
- Manage relevant architecture/design/workplace consultants for the duration of the project and coordinate senior stakeholder approvals throughout the project process.
- Report to:
Program Lead and Head of Design (Tetris UK).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design or Commercial Design Management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a strategic agenda across a large, global, geographically dispersed organization.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service.
- Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities and to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Distills complex information to essentials for client decision-making.
- Ability to participate in discussions with internal clients on design, construction and space-use concepts.
- Interpersonal skills to present to and communicate with demanding clients and manage expectations throughout the design, construction and delivery process.
