Interior Design
A Junior FF&E Designer is required to support a luxury interiors team working on high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects worldwide. Based in Central London, the role suits a creative and organised designer with at least 1 year of studio experience. You will assist senior designers with concepts, FF&E schemes, presentations, specifications, sourcing and project coordination.
Role & Responsibilities- Support FF&E designers throughout all stages for luxury residential projects
- Research furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting and sanitaryware
- Prepare mood boards, sample boards and presentations
- Assist with specifications, schedules and procurement documents
- Coordinate quotations, lead times, deliveries and installations
You will maintain project records and sample libraries, attend meetings and site visits, and communicate with suppliers, contractors and project teams. The position also involves contributing ideas to design concepts, sketches and CGI presentations while completing assigned work accurately within deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required- At least 1 year within a luxury design studio in the UK
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communication with internal and external teams
- Proficiency in relevant design and presentation software
You should be confident using Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office. A genuine interest in luxury interiors, craftsmanship and bespoke products is essential, alongside the ability to remain calm, adaptable and accurate within a fast-paced studio.
Exceptional graduates with relevant internship or placement experience may also be considered. You should demonstrate creative flair, a proactive approach and the ability to manage changing priorities while supporting several projects simultaneously.
Salary & Benefits£29,000 - £34,000, dependent on experience
