Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated Architect to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have excellent design and technical skills and experience producing architectural layouts and technical drawing packages to support our interior design projects. You will work closely with our interior designers, clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to develop creative, practical, and well-coordinated design solutions.
- Key Responsibilities;
- Produce architectural layouts and technical drawing packages.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, sections, elevations, and bespoke joinery details.
- Develop creative architectural solutions that enhance the interior design concept.
- Coordinate layouts with lighting, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings.
- Attend site visits and site meetings as required.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Respond to technical and construction queries.
- Monitor site progress and assist in resolving design-related issues.
- Update drawings, schedules, and technical documentation throughout each project.
- Work collaboratively with the interior design team to ensure a seamless and coordinated design.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK architectural or interior design practice.
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Excellent understanding of construction methods and building detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
- Experience with Sketch Up, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
