REAL-TIME VISUALISER
MYTR | PART OF WORKPLACE FUTURES GROUP
DEFINING REALTY – THE DIGITAL STORY OF SPACE
We’re looking for a talented Real-Time Visualiser to join our growing team at Mytr!
Our team is a mix of designers, developers, visualisers, and digital specialists who work collaboratively on innovative product solutions for the property industry. We combine technology, creativity and behavioural insight to create immersive visual experiences for the commercial real estate sector.
We’re developing our in-house technology into a series of powerful leasing tools, allowing people to visualise, navigate through, and interact with, the built environment before a space exists.
As part of Workplace Futures Group, Mytr works on some of the most iconic and interesting buildings, with industry-leading developers, in London and beyond. Our approach is to create a story of space, focusing on the small details and charming moments that define realty.
THE ROLE
You’ll work, both independently and as part of a team, to create real-time visualisations that bring commercial workplaces, developments and destinations to life. Working across both interactive products (configurators, walkthroughs and client-facing applications) and traditional deliverables (cinematic stills, flythroughs and marketing renders).
Working closely with designers, developers and clients, you’ll translate design intent and technical information into highly engaging visual experiences that tell the story of space in real-time. This is an opportunity for someone passionate about visual storytelling and emerging technology to shape the future of an innovative new product, seeing their work directly influence the final outcome and realising their work through an interactive platform.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Building and optimising photorealistic real-time scenes in Unreal Engine 5, using Lumen, Nanite and the wider UE5 toolset
• Translating CAD, BIM and design files into clean, performant real-time geometry, materials and lighting
• Producing interactive experiences and traditional outputs, including walkthroughs, design-option
toggles, cinematic stills and animated flythroughs, all from the same source scenes
• Owning scene performance: profiling and optimising frame rate, draw calls, memory and load times so builds run smoothly on target hardware
• Setting up reusable systems such as master materials, lighting templates and asset libraries that speed up future projects and keep output consistent
• Packaging, testing and delivering builds across desktop, web/pixel-streaming and VR, and supporting client review and sign-off
• Collaborating with design, creative and technical teams throughout project delivery
• Staying current with UE5 releases, plugins and real-time techniques, and sharing knowledge to raise the wider team’s capability
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
E S S E N T I A L
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Unreal Engine. This is a core requirement of the role, and we are unable to consider applications without it
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a real-time visualisation, 3D or technical art role
• Excellent understanding of real-time rendering and visualisation workflows
• Proven ability to create high-quality 3D environments and assets, including geometry optimisation, UVs, P texturing and LODs
• A solid grasp of real-time performance optimisation, frame rate, draw calls, memory and build packaging
• A strong eye for composition, lighting, materials, colour and visual storytelling
• Ability to manage your own workload across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
B E N E F I C I A L
• Experience with in architecture, interior design, workplace, commercial property or the wider built
environment sector. This is our preference, though not a requirement
• Experience from the games, film/VFX or product visualisation industries. We welcome applications from candidates looking to move across into the built environment
• Familiarity with 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, Sketch Up, Rhino or Revit, and with BIM/CAD…
