BIM Technician - Structural / Building BIM
We're currently looking for an experienced BIM Technician to join a project team supporting the delivery and coordination of detailed design and construction information.
The role will involve developing and managing 2D and 3D BIM models, producing high-quality construction drawings, and ensuring models and documentation are accurate, coordinated and compliant with project requirements.
Key responsibilities:- Develop and maintain 2D & 3D BIM models and technical drawings
- Use Bentley Micro Station and Open Buildings Designer
- Support BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design teams
- Carry out model reviews, audits and clash detection
- Work in line with BIM standards, BEPs and project information requirements
- Support the management of information within a Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Assist with resolving technical and coordination issues
- Ensure project deliverables meet required quality, accuracy and programme standards
- HNC/HND in Engineering, Design or a related discipline
- Strong experience with 3D modelling and BIM
- Proficient in Micro Station and Open Buildings Designer
- Understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection and model standards
- Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
