Location: City of London
Our client is an established, design-led interior architecture and design studio known for creating distinctive, highly considered spaces shaped by culture, community and context. Their portfolio spans high-end hospitality, F&B, wellness and large-scale hotel developments, with a strong focus on thoughtful design, collaboration and delivering innovative concepts through to completion.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 8 years’ experience across interior architecture, design and project management, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale hotel and/or high-end F&B projects.
Working closely with Directors and Associates, the Senior Interior Designer will take responsibility for the creative and day-to-day delivery of projects from concept through to completion. This will include leading the design team, developing creative concepts, overseeing design development and technical documentation, coordinating with clients, operators, consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on programme and within budget.
A key part of the role will be mentoring and developing the wider design team, delegating effectively, providing technical and creative guidance, and helping to maintain consistently high design standards. The successful candidate will also contribute to pitches, recruitment and business development, while representing the studio confidently within the wider industry.
Strong communication, presentation and project management skills are essential, alongside excellent technical and construction knowledge, creative problem-solving abilities and a strong eye for colour, materials, composition and form. The ability to work collaboratively, manage deadlines and communicate confidently and diplomatically with clients and external stakeholders is particularly important.
Advanced AutoCAD skills are essential, alongside proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of Sketch Up is required, while experience with Revit, Enscape, 3D Studio Max or Rhino would be advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior designer looking to take on significant creative and managerial responsibility within a highly regarded, design-focused studio, working across a range of exciting hospitality and interior projects.
