Locum Consultant Radiologist interest Urology​/Gynaecology Imaging

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a consultant radiologist to join our team at Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospital Trust. This is a new post caused by increased demand for radiology services and is part of our transformation and expansion. The role is a locum post for one year, with a view to becoming a substantive position after the first year.

• Support general radiology, including inpatient/AE service, outpatient cross‑sectional imaging and ultrasound/FNAs.
• Provide imaging for Urology and Gynaecology, including
  983 ultrasound, cross‑sectional imaging, and reporting.
• Participate in weekly Urology and Gynaecology MDTs, which also serve as educational resources for trainees and allied health professionals.
• Support general diagnostic radiology on‑call service as required.
• Contribute to the general work of the department – CT, MRI, US and plain film reporting.
• Participate in the provision of comprehensive diagnostic services, including MDT and on‑call services.

• MBBS or equivalent
• GMC registration
• FRCR or equivalent

• MRCP/MRCS
• Be on the specialist register or within six months of entry at the time of interview
• Fellowship or equivalent experience in Paediatric Radiology
