Position: Trust Junior Doctor ST1/2 posts for Head & Neck
Location: City of Westminster

Overview

Advertised as Trust Junior Doctor ST1/2 posts for Head & Neck; we would consider applicants wishing to carry out more specific roles in either Maxillofacial Surgery or ENT Surgery depending on individual interest and training needs. The post holder will provide care for Head and Neck, Maxillofacial and ENT patients. The rota allows the post holder to gain significant Head and Neck Cancer experience including reconstructive free flap surgery (around eight major cases performed per month), facial trauma and aesthetic facial surgery.

Applicants will be encouraged to participate in extensive teaching, research, audit and service improvement within UCL collaboration projects around individual development requirements and the service needs. The on‑call rota is a full shift system to cover the Maxillofacial and ENT admissions. All eight Trust junior doctors participate in the shift system. We encourage applications from medically qualified Junior Trust doctors (equivalent to CT1/2) wishing to pursue a career in Head & Neck Surgery.

We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to recruit one full‑time Junior Doctor ST1/2 (equivalent to CT1/2 level) position to join Head and Neck Surgical specialties. The post is expected to start April 2026 on a 16 month contract with a possibility of extending.
