Role Overview
As a Consultant in Obstetric Medicine within the network, you will provide specialist care for pregnant women with complex medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Barnet general Hospital. The role includes participation in multi‑disciplinary antenatal and postnatal clinics, acute consults for pregnant/recently pregnant women with medical problems, and management of maternal medicine inpatients. You will work closely with colleagues across the NCL network, liaising and coordinating patient care, attending and contributing to NCL multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and supporting the ongoing development of the Maternal Medicine Network.
In addition, the post holder will play a key role in coordinating advice, education, and support for physicians, obstetricians, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals across the network. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well‑established, collaborative maternal medicine service and contribute to high‑quality, integrated care across North Central London.

£109,725 to £145,478 a year, plus London Weighting pro rata.
