Job Summary
The Vascular Surgery team at St George's Hospital wishes to appoint a Junior Clinical Fellow (Trust Doctor) to join the surgical team. The post will provide an ideal professional development platform from which the appointee may develop a portfolio of experience, although it is not part of a formal training programme.
ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of the post are to care for the patients admitted to the wards for elective or emergency surgery.
On‑call category 1B 40%, post holders will participate in the Urology/General Surgery and Vascular Surgery on‑call rota and contribute to the Vascular/ Urology/ General Surgery on‑call rota.
Qualifications & AttributesThe successful applicants will be team players, yet able to work independently. They will be confident and clear communicators possessing excellent IT data management and verbal reasoning skills. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy, experience in prioritising workloads and support the present provision of vascular surgical services to the populations of South‑West London and surrounding areas as key members of our dynamic clinical team.
