Job Opportunity: Business Teacher with Computing (KS3-KS4)
Location: Lambeth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term cover (until July 2026)
Working Pattern: 3 days per week - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
We are pleased to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in recruiting a dedicated Business Teacher with Computing for a long-term position running until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher looking to make a meaningful impact across both subject areas.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will teach Business and Computing across KS3 and KS4, with an equal split between both subjects.
Key Subject Breakdown- Business (50%)
- Teaching GCSE Business to Year 10 and Year 11
- Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and preparing students for GCSE assessments
- Computing (50%)
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 Computing
- Covering core topics such as programming, digital literacy, systems architecture, and computational thinking
- Wednesday to Friday (fixed days)
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in both Business and Computing
- Support students in developing strong subject knowledge and achieving target grades
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in both Business and Computing
- Experience teaching KS3-KS4, including GCSE Business
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
- Commitment to the full duration of the contract (until July 2026)
