We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our vibrant department. You will teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contribute to the development of our new A Level Drama and Theatre curriculum.
Beyond the classroom, you will inspire students’ creativity and confidence through extra-curricular clubs, rehearsals, theatre trips, and school productions ranging from year-group showcases to whole‑school musical productions.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape students’ learning and performance skills while working within a supportive and forward‑thinking school community that values both academic success and personal growth.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, inclusive drama lessons for students of all abilities at GCSE and A Level.
Plan, coordinate and run play productions, clubs, and external trips.
Contribute to curriculum design and assessment for Key Stages 3 and 4 and the A Level Drama and Theatre programme.
Qualifications & Experience- Experienced in teaching Drama at GCSE; A Level teaching experience is desirable.
- Strong classroom practitioner, delivering engaging, inclusive lessons for students of all abilities.
- Committed to students’ development in both written and performance work.
- Enthusiastic about extra‑curricular Drama, including productions and clubs.
- Well‑organised with the ability to balance curriculum delivery and enrichment activities.
- Holds a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
