Overview
Horizon Teachers is recruiting a qualified History Teacher for an Ofsted‑rated ‘Outstanding’ co‑educational secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and assess engaging, creative History lessons for KS3‑KS5 students.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Collaborate with the Humanities Department and contribute to school improvement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.
- Extensive knowledge of the national History curriculum.
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
- Experience delivering lessons across KS3 to KS5 (ECTs welcomed – support available).
- Permanent role with annual salary £40,317 – £62,496 (or paid to scale from £240–£372 per day at M1‑UPS3 Inner London).
- Opportunity to start ASAP or in January.
