Clarus Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded primary school in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in Upper KS2, where you will help pupils prepare for the transition into their final year of primary school.

• Lead a motivated and friendly Year 5 class within a well‑organised KS2 department
• Deliver engaging, well‑paced lessons that stretch pupils and deepen subject understanding
• Support children’s academic progress while promoting independence, resilience, and confidence
• Contribute to a positive school culture built around collaboration, consistency, and ongoing reflection
• Engage in high‑quality CPD and work alongside experienced colleagues who share resources and expertise

• Holds QTS (essential)
• Experience teaching in KS2, particularly upper key stage experience, is highly desirable
• A teacher who brings strong subject knowledge, creativity, and a commitment to raising achievement
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families
• A reflective practitioner with a proactive attitude and a passion for supporting older primary pupils
