Year 2 Primary Teacher

- The Role

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Plan and assess effectively to ensure strong pupil progress.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 2 teacher and wider KS1 team.
• Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring inclusion for all learners.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents, colleagues, and senior leaders.

Year 2 Primary Teacher - What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
• A passionate, reflective practitioner with a child-centred approach.
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
• A commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school.

Salary

Inner London MPS-UPS, dependent on experience.
