About the role/school
We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a committed and experienced SEN Primary Teacher. This role is based within a supportive SEN setting, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching tailored to pupils with a range of additional needs.

The successful SEN Primary Teacher will be passionate about inclusive education and confident in adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs. You will work alongside a strong SEN team and leadership team who are highly supportive and invested in staff development.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.

Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Use a range of strategies to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.

Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.

Qualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

Experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary or SEN setting.

Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.

A calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

Right to work in the UK.
