We are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work predominantly in Year
4. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting learning, confident in leading groups and lessons, and keen to make a real impact on pupil progress.

Their pupils are curious, articulate and eager to learn, and the staff work collaboratively to ensure every child feels supported, challenged and inspired.
They have a strong commitment to professional development, staff wellbeing and high-quality teaching and learning. The school benefits from supportive leadership, a positive working culture and well-resourced classrooms.

You will work closely with the Class Teacher to:

Deliver high-quality learning interventions and whole-class cover where appropriate.
Support planning, assessment and pupil progress.
Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs.
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience as an HLTA, ideally in Key Stage 2.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths.
Is confident leading learning independently and adapting lessons to meet pupils’ needs.
Has high expectations for all pupils and a calm, positive behaviour approach.
Is reflective, proactive and keen to develop their practice.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and parents.
