Hourly Paid Lecturer in Travel and Tourism

London, Greater London

£32.27 (including holiday pay) – Tutor Rate £38.23 per hour, Teaching Rate £24.72 per hour. Fixed‑term contract.

United Colleges Group (UCG) – a London‑based education group with a turnover of £50m.

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing & Care is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Travel and Tourism. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2 or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Tutor and manage Level 1–3 vocational programmes.
  • Teach across all programmes.
Qualifications
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a related area with relevant experience within the Travel & Tourism industry.
  • Familiarity with the current NCFE curriculum.
  • Recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.

  • Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills.
