Lunchtime Supervisor

Location: Islington

Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary School based in Islington, looking to appoint a patient, caring and enthusiastic staff member to join their lunchtime team.

You will have to manage the effective running of lunchtimes, supervising the children during eating, cleaning the dining room area and overseeing the children during activities and games.

The hours for this role will be 11:30am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

The successful candidate will need to:

Assisting with the setup and cleanup of the lunchroom hall
Helping students with their meal trays and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable lunch experience
Be able to communicate and interact effectively with both children and adults
An enthusiasm for working with children outside
The ability to work within specific routines and systems as directed (e.g. in the lunch hall)
Able to support pupils to manage their behaviour in a supportive and calm manner.
