Location: Wandsworth
QTS-Qualified KS2 Teacher (Year
3) / LSA (1:1 SEN Support)
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, five days per week
Hours:
8:00am – 4:00/5:00pm
Teaching Time: 35 hours per week, with additional wraparound care hours to be agreed and included within the agreed salary (approximately 10+ additional hours)
Start Date:
As soon as possible, subject to a successful interview and completion of our compliance process
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, QTS-qualified teacher with SEN experience to work one-to-one with a Year 3 boy diagnosed with ADHD, who is transitioning from a private school to a state school setting.
This is a highly rewarding, full-time role offering the opportunity to deliver bespoke, engaging support on an individual basis.
The Role
* Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00am–4:00/5:00pm) 1:1 support during the school day
* Supporting academic engagement, focus, and emotional regulation
* Planning and delivering personalised learning programmes
* Enrichment and extension of learning where appropriate
* Liaison with parents and school staff
* Possible wraparound care, including:
* * Early finishes
* Homework support
* Occasional home drop-off
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Relevant SEN experience, including ADHD – essential
* Enhanced DBS certificate (current or registered on the Update Service) – essential
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Confidence in planning and delivering bespoke learning
* Professional, reliable, and adaptable
In all cases:
* Initial trial sessions
* Followed by a probationary period
* Then transition to working directly with the family
