Location: Bethnal Green South
A lovely and supportive primary school in Newham is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work across Year 3 and Year 4 classes. This is a unique opportunity offering two pathways within one role, depending on your experience, interests, and long-term career goals.

About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position where the successful candidate may work in two different ways:
Classroom-Based Support:
Supporting pupils within Year 3 and Year 4 classes, working with both mainstream learners and pupils with additional needs. This route is ideal for graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and want strong classroom experience.
SEN Provision Support:
Working within the school’s SEN provision, supporting pupils with additional and complex needs in a more specialist environment. This route is ideal for candidates interested in SEN teaching, educational psychology, or therapeutic careers.
The school is flexible and keen to match the role to the candidate’s strengths and aspirations. There is also opportunity to gain experience in both settings depending on performance and interest.

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
• Graduate-level candidates are highly encouraged to apply

• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Previous school or SEN experience is desirable but not essential
