Nursery Teacher

- Role Overview

Full-time role for a confident Nursery Teacher within the EYFS

Responsible for Welcomm assessments, reviews and STP reviews with the SENCO

Hold approximately 8 key children with full planning, observing and assessment duties

Use of Tapestry and EY Works, with no more than 26 children in the room

Team & Environment for the Nursery Teacher

Support from 2 qualified Scale 5 Early Years Practitioners

Additional part-time Scale 3 and Scale 2 staff within the room

What the Nursery Teacher Must Bring

EYTS or QTS with a minimum of 3 years' EYFS teaching experience

Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment tools

Confident classroom leadership and excellent communication skills

A proactive, nurturing approach suited to early years education
