Midday Supervisor - Special Needs School; Peckham

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our supportive team at a specialist school in Peckham
, working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring pupils have a safe, calm, and positive lunchtime experience
. You will support students during lunch, encourage social interaction, and help with play and structured activities.

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors
• Supporting children with additional needs, including communication, behaviour, and personal care where required
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills
• Assisting pupils with eating and mobility as needed
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Working closely with teaching and support staff

• Kind, patient, and nurturing with a genuine interest in working with children with SEND
• Calm and confident when supporting children with a range of needs
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Experience working with children or young people (especially SEND) is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and relevant training
