Teacher Active Teacher Active is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the heart of the City of London. The school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to join their team from 3rd March.

This role involves providing tailored, one-to-one support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and thrive within the classroom environment.

The Role:

Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN.

Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies and EHCP targets.

Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential).

Demonstrate a nurturing, patient, and calm approach.

Be proactive, reliable, and committed to making a difference.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
