We are looking to recruit a number of Lecturers Carpentry at our Rainham Campus. We have full time role and part time roles available.
Responsibilities- Teach and assess learning on a range of courses, including 16-18s and adult learners. Courses range from level 1 to level 3, including college-based qualifications and apprenticeships.
- Work effectively as a member of an experienced, strong and dynamic team, liaising with the Senior Curriculum Manager and all colleagues in the College.
- Take an active role in own professional development in relation to all aspects of your industry specialism as well as your teaching/assessing role.
- Industry expertise and hold a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry.
- Firm grasp of current carpentry practices.
- Teaching experience desirable but not required; training and support provided.
- Commit to obtaining a Level 5 Certificate in Education; full funding available.
- Assessors qualification desirable.
- Dynamic industry professionals interested in transitioning into education either full time or as a dual professional.
This role offers 52 days of holiday and full funding for a Level 5 Certificate in Education. We are seeking an industry professional with exceptional communication and organisational skills to join our teaching team.
The ideal candidate will be highly flexible, capable of engaging and inspiring 16-19-year-old learners in both practical and theoretical aspects of Carpentry. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences, or a strong desire to develop these skills. Industry expertise in Carpentry is essential, along with a Level 3 qualification in the field.
A solid understanding of current carpentry practices is also desirable. We are looking for passionate industry professionals to join our teaching team and inspire the next generation of Carpentry experts. Ideally, candidates will have experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our Carpentry learners or possess significant industry experience.
