Lecturer Carpentry x

Overview

We are looking to recruit 2 Lecturers Carpentry at our Rainham Campus. We have one full time role and one part time 0.5 FTE role available.

• To teach and assess learning on a range of courses, which include 16-18s and adult learners. Courses range from level 1 up to level 3, including college based qualifications and apprenticeships.
• To work effectively as a member of an experienced, strong and dynamic team, liaising with Senior Curriculum Manager and all colleagues in the College.
• To take an active role in own professional development in relation to all aspects of your industry specialism as well as your teaching/assessing role.

• Industry expertise in Carpentry is essential, along with a Level 3 qualification in the field. A solid understanding of current Carpentry practices is also desirable.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Carpentry learners, or significant industry experience, is preferred.
• A commitment to obtain a Level 5 Certificate in Education is required; full support and funding are provided. If you hold an assessors qualification, this would be desirable.
• While teaching experience is desirable, it is not required.
