Horizon Teachers is actively seeking a 6th Form progress and Welfare Officer for a secondary school in South East London on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will be open to covering a variety of subjects to students between the year groups of 7-11.
About the schoolThey are a secondary and 6th form school who pay an average of 5% above national scales, including a generous staff discount scheme. They are committed to investing in the ongoing development of staff and to providing further opportunities within teaching, including training courses, expert subject advice and support for overall wellbeing.
The Role- Supporting the head of 6th Form and the Senior Leadership team.
- Working with a diverse range of students, forming important relationships with them.
- Monitoring behaviour and attendance.
- Supporting 6th form students both personally and academically.
- We are currently having our busiest year & placing more staff than ever before.

RequirementsAs part of our registration process, you'll need an enhanced DBS check and we will need to see and copy your original qualifications before any placement. Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
