Inspire. Support. Empower. A well-regarded specialist day and residential school in Wimbledon is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 2–19 with Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment, and Multi-Sensory Impairments. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class support and one-to-one assistance as required
  • Help deliver personalised learning plans and communication strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapy staff to meet students  academic and developmental goals
  • Foster independence, social interaction, and self-confidence
  • Contribute to a calm, safe, and nurturing learning environment
What We’re Looking For
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people with special educational needs
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
  • Willingness to learn and apply sensory-led and specialist teaching techniques
  • Prior SEN experience is a plus, but not essential
