Job Description

Drama Technician required for an outstanding school, the school are looking for a Drama Technician to support the Head of Departments with stage managing the School Play, and overseeing the technical elements of the production, as well as providing technical support for GCSE examined performances

The school wants to look over drama technician CVs ASAP and meet drama technician's over the next couple of weeks

Key Responsibilities
  • Making recordings of the practical exams, transferring digital media from one format to another
  • Operating light and sound equipment during practical exams and the school play.
  • Stage managing the annual school play, coordinating and managing all technical elements, and managing groups of students assigned to each technical element
Training Provided

Training will be provided where necessary

Requirements

The school are looking for someone with a Drama or Theatre background. Who has the ability to communicate effectively and positively with students, teachers, suppliers, and members of the public. You must also enjoy working with young people and has an appetite for learning new skills, with a positive, can-do attitude. Please send your CV to Gavin at Reeson Education ASAP.
