Salary: £150 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate German Teacher eager to inspire students through language learning?

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and knowledgeable MFL German Teachers to work in schools across Dartford.

As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you’ll be teaching German to students across key stages 3, 4 and 5, helping them develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering a genuine interest in language learning. The successful candidate will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging German lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress and attainment
  • Develop students confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding German
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments
  • Encourage students to develop an appreciation of German language and culture
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field
  • Experience teaching German within a school setting is desirable
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Passion for language education and student achievement
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
