Physics Teacher – Part Time (0.6 FTE)

September 2026. Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 pro rata.

A co‑educational secondary school in North London seeks a dedicated Physics Teacher to join the science department on a permanent 0.6 FTE basis from September 2026. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, with a focus on Physics and supporting lessons in Chemistry and Biology.

The teacher will:

• Teach KS3 and KS4 Science classes, primarily focusing on Physics.
• Support student progress and contribute positively to the wider Science department.
• Deliver high‑quality lessons across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
• Ideally hold QTS.
• Strong subject knowledge in Physics and ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science.
• Comfortable teaching in Chemistry and Biology as part of a broad Science timetable.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and high expectations for all learners.
• Committed to supporting student progress in a permanent part‑time teaching role.
• Hold UK Right to Work.
