Early Years & KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Brent, North West London
110 - 125 per day ASAP or September Start Full-Time Long-Term

About the Role

Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting young children with additional needs. The role will involve working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 and small group SEN support across Early Years and KS1
  • Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
  • Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SEND team
  • Encouraging engagement through play-based and structured learning activities
  • Supporting behaviour management and positive learning habits
  • Assisting with transitions and daily classroom routines
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
