We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact during this important stage of pupils’ learning and development.

This is a full-time Year 2 teaching position within a supportive Key Stage 1 team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and ensuring all pupils make strong progress.

The successful candidate will create a positive and stimulating learning environment, use assessment effectively to inform teaching and work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and families.

• Consistently good or outstanding teaching
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong knowledge of phonics, reading and writing development
• Committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
• High expectations of behaviour and achievement
• Organised, reflective and a strong team player

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
