Are you an experienced Year 2 Teacher or KS1 Primary Teacher ready for your next opportunity in a supportive and well-established school? Are you a qualified Primary Year 2 Teacher with QTS who has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, particularly phonics, early reading and foundational maths? Here at Academics, we are proud to be working with this fantastic primary school in Westminster, which is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and resilient Year 2 Teacher.

This is a well-established, one-form entry primary school with a strong and visible senior leadership team. Staff are supported through collaborative planning, consistent behaviour policies and ongoing CPD opportunities.

The school is particularly keen to appoint a teacher with strong KS1 knowledge and confidence in delivering high-quality phonics and early reading provision. Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is essential, as the class requires a teacher who can establish firm boundaries, build positive relationships and implement consistent behaviour strategies effectively.
