From £32,412 per annum
Contract: Term time + 4 weeks (39 weeks per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and inspiring Maths & Science Teacher to join our Middle School (Years 7-9, including GCSE preparation). You will deliver engaging lessons across Maths and Science, including both weekly teaching and immersive block lessons, tailored to a range of abilities. This role offers the opportunity to teach within a creative and values‑led educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths and Science lessons
  • Prepare and conduct practical experiments safely
  • Monitor pupil progress and produce reports
  • Maintain and organise subject materials and resources
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
  • Contribute to school events, trips and assemblies
  • Support safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Work with SENDCo to support pupils with additional needs
  • Participate in meetings, training and professional development
About You Essential
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Teaching experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Desirable
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Waldorf/Steiner training or experience
  • Experience teaching large classes
  • Interest in Steiner education and Anthroposophy
