English Teacher

A highly regarded, Ofsted Outstanding secondary academy in London is seeking an English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The role is based in Newham; you must be able to commute to East London. We are joining one of the strongest English departments in the country with a large team of teachers working collaboratively in a calm, scholarly and purposeful environment where student outcomes are consistently strong.

• Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering AQA GCSE English Language and English Literature.
• Contribute to Key Stage 5 teaching where applicable, though this is desirable rather than essential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers both welcome.
