Westminster City School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, innovative Subject Leader to lead our well‑established and popular Design Technology department.
This rare opportunity offers the chance to build on an established and rigorous existing curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You would be working alongside an ambitious and motivated team within our Creative Arts Faculty who are driven by the goal of inspiring our young people to develop a life‑long passion for learning.

The candidate:- Strong personal values of integrity, wisdom and compassion;
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continually developing it;
- A strong and sustained track record of delivering strong outcomes at GCSE;
- Experience of developing and delivering an excellent DT curriculum and ability to build on consistently strong student outcomes;
- A keen interest in developing leadership and management skills; and
- Cognisance of current best practice and want to foster in others a research‑based approach to designing and implementing a highly impactful DT curriculum.
