Job Title: Associate Lecturer in Business Management

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Lecturer in Business Management to join our academic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about teaching and supporting student success. • Support the delivery of teaching sessions across Business Management programmes (Levels 4–6).
• Assist in preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources.
• Co-deliver or independently deliver sessions (with support and guidance).
• Use a range of teaching methods and digital tools to engage students.
• Deliver sessions in-person and/or online as required.
• Provide academic support through tutorials, workshops, and drop-in sessions.

• Support the preparation and delivery of assessments and coursework.
• Assist with marking and providing constructive feedback (training provided).
• Learn and apply internal assessment and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate student records and meet deadlines with support.

• Build positive relationships with students and provide guidance on academic progress.
• Support student engagement, attendance, and participation.
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in student reviews and academic support processes.

• Engage in structured training and mentoring programmes.
• Work towards relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., HEA Fellowship or PGCert).
• Develop subject knowledge, teaching practice, and pedagogical skills.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and CPD activities.

• Uphold institutional policies including safeguarding, equality, and health & safety.
• Maintain professionalism and act as a positive role model for students.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in teaching, training, or working in an academic environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop as an educator.
• Good organisational and teamwork skills.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
• Some teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or training experience.
• Familiarity with virtual learning environments (e.g., Moodle, Teams).
