SEND Teaching Assistant - Inclusive & Supportive Primary School in Ealing

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Ealing.

  • Pay: £95 - £115 per day
  • School Type: 3-form entry primary school with over 600 pupils

About the School

You'll be working as part of a supportive SEND department, helping children with additional needs access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to SEND pupils in class
  • Encouraging students' participation in both classroom and school life
  • Assisting with break times, lunch, trips, and extra-curricular activities
  • Using positive behaviour management strategies to promote safety and wellbeing
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to meet students' individual needs

What We're Looking For

  • A positive mindset and genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
  • Experience working with SEND or vulnerable individuals - this may include roles in schools, healthcare, social care, or youth/community work
  • Strong emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Willingness to learn - full training and professional development will be provided
