Time Plan Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in North London to recruit an experienced and organised SEN Manager to join their Inclusion Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to play a key role in the day‑to‑day coordination and management of SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs receive the support required to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As SEN Manager, you will work closely with the SENCo and Inclusion Team to oversee the operational delivery of SEND provision across the school. You will coordinate support staff, manage SEND systems and processes, monitor interventions and ensure that EHCP provision is implemented effectively and consistently.

This role would suit an experienced SEN Administrator, Assistant SENCo, HLTA, Inclusion Manager, SEND Officer or an individual looking to take the next step within SEND leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day organisation and coordination of SEND provision across the school.
  • Coordinate and monitor support for students with SEND across lessons, interventions and specialist provision.
  • Manage and maintain LSA and HLTA timetables, ensuring effective deployment of support staff.
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and HLTAs.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of EHCP provision and SEND support plans.
  • Coordinate EHCP annual reviews, including scheduling meetings and maintaining documentation.
  • Monitor intervention programmes, provision mapping and student support plans.
  • Maintain accurate SEND records, data and documentation.
  • Support staff in implementing adaptive teaching strategies and reasonable adjustments.
  • Liaise effectively with teachers, pastoral teams, parents, carers and external professionals.
  • Support communication with families regarding SEND provision and student support.
  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive learning environment that promotes positive outcomes for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience working within a SEND, Inclusion or SENCo support role.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Experience working within a secondary school environment.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills.
  • Experience coordinating interventions, support programmes or provision for students with SEND.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with staff, parents, carers and external agencies.
  • A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people.
Desirable
  • HLTA status or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing or deploying support staff.
  • Experience supporting EHCP annual reviews and SEND documentation.
  • Knowledge of Arbor, SIMS, Bromcom or other school management systems.
  • A desire to further develop within SEND leadership and inclusion.
