Early Years Educator WCC

About the role

As an Early Years Educator you will make a powerful contribution to the children and families of Westminster. Working with a team of experts, you will help children in the nursery develop emotionally, socially and academically while supporting your own professional growth.

• Provide high quality care and education to children attending the nursery, ensuring their emotional, social, and academic needs are met.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and health, keeping children safe, supported and encouraging their development.
• Observe, plan and prepare a curriculum for children, working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (2021).
• Promote parents’ involvement in their children’s learning, taking into account individual needs and cultural backgrounds.
• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing expertise and learning from their experience to enhance teaching practice.

• Professional qualification in Early Years – NNEB, CACHE, BTEC Level 3 or a BA in Childcare/Early Years, with at least one year post‑qualification experience.
• Experience observing, planning and preparing curriculum for young children.
• Comfortable working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (2021).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• A team player who is passionate about shaping the future learning and development of children.
