Pay: 120-130 per day

Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bexley/Bromley area is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2026 on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community and make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities.
  • Leading small-group and one-to-one intervention programmes.
  • Working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and pupil progress.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A HLTA qualification or substantial relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Confidence in leading whole-class learning.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children.
