An outstanding secondary school in Waltham Forest is looking to appoint an Economics and Business Teacher on a full-time, one-year fixed term contract from September 2026. The school has excellent behaviour and strong academic outcomes, offering a positive and purposeful environment for a committed teacher to make a lasting impact.

The successful Economics and Business Teacher will teach mixed ability groups from Year 10 onwards. Students follow the AQA syllabus at A‑level for Economics and Business, the AQA syllabus for GCSE Business and the OCR syllabus for GCSE Economics. The Economics and Business department achieves outstanding results across both key stages, and there is a TLR available with this role for a KS4 Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Economics and Business Teacher seeking additional responsibility within a high‑performing department.

• Hold QTS
• Have a degree in Economics, Business or a closely related subject
• Have experience teaching Economics and Business at GCSE and/or A‑level
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach mixed ability groups
• Be able to contribute to outstanding outcomes across KS4 and KS5
• Hold UK Right to Work
