Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, School Business Management, or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a School Business Manager, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, procurement, and compliance
  • Experience with in an educational setting is desirable
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish high quality education by effectively managing teaching and learning and using personalised learning to realise the potential of all students
  • Establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all students
  • Provide vision, leadership and direction for the school and ensure that it is managed and organised to meet its aims and targets
  • Evaluate the school's performance and identify priorities for continuous improvement and raising standards
  • Ensure equality of opportunity for all
  • Develop policies and practices
  • Ensure resources are efficiently and effectively used to achieve the school's aims and objectives
  • Secure the commitment of the wider community to the school by developing and maintaining effective partnerships
  • Create a productive learning environment which is engaging and fulfilling for all students
Eligibility Requirements
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years
